J M ‘Mike’ Ramsden died on 28th July 2019 aged 90. He will be remembered primarily for his illustrious career as Editor of Flight. This pdf Mike Ramsden remembered V4  contains published obituaries, Flight’s report of his funeral and Mike’s account of his editorship written in 2009. Page 9 of the pdf was amended in 2024 to include photographs in and from Dragon Rapide G-AGJG, which flew over at Mike's funeral.

Mike was a great supporter of the de Havilland Aircraft Museum at Colney Heath and was involved for many years with the Hatfield Branch of RAeS, latterly as President.
