I wonder what happened to the moving fuselage Comet 4 simulator at Mexicana, this being a replica of the one for BOAC. If anyone is interested there is a tale to tell.

I was born on the edge of DH at Hatfield and saw the maiden flight of the Comet from my bedroom window. As an airframe fitter in the RAF I worked on a number of Comet 2Rs. May I wish you great success with the restoration of this fabulous aircraft.

HI, as I am an Honorary volunteer, Bob Hood updates me with the progress report every week. I look forward to reading them. Your article is very informative and covers a fairly long timespan. It is very well put together and shows the enthusiasm and dedication of all those involved on the project. I wish you and the Cometeirs all the very best for the future. Very best wishes and kind regards, Rab.
